Once you’ve mastered movement efficiency, we guide you in fighting prowess.

Emphasis on Self-Defense:

At Fight Sports So Cal, we view BJJ primarily as a martial art and combat system, prioritizing real-life application over sport or athletics. While we actively engage in BJJ tournaments, our foremost concern is ensuring our students can defend themselves effectively.

Sparring:

Sparring, an integral aspect of BJJ, requires executing techniques against actively resisting partners. BJJ sparring strictly involves grappling, devoid of punches or kicks, fostering a safe and respectful environment for students to evolve.
